Cobb Oven Baking

Join life-long baker and Revive the Roots community builder Hannah Martin as she teaches Cobb oven baking. Cobb ovens have been used for thousands of year by many cultures to cook all types of food. These old school ovens are made of earth and other natural materials and use wood to heat their interiors. Forget the electric mixer and learn how to bake breads and desserts using your own hands and fire!

Each week of this three week class will focusing on a new recipe. Week one will focus on bread, week two making pizza and week three desserts. Take home your delicious creations to share with your friends and family. All ingredients and equipment are provided.

Summer session: Sundays 11:00am – 2:30pm  6/30, 7/7 and 7/14

Fall session: Saturdays 11:00am – 2:30pm 9/7, 9/14 and 9/28

This class is designed for students ages 16 and up. Students under the age of 18 must receive written permission from a parent or legal guardian.
